Blockchain at UCI is an ecosystem for blockchain education, development, and networking at UC Irvine and surrounding areas. We organize workshops, educational seminars, hackathons, and networking events to facilitate the growth of blockchain awareness, technical understanding, and thorough training. Blockchain at UCI collaborates with industry leaders to host events with various blockchain-oriented companies, in pursuit of identifying efficient and practical blockchain technologies, and helping students in Orange County develop the necessary skills and knowledge to participate in new, exciting opportunities surrounding blockchain. www.blockchainuci.org

Hyperledger

Hyperledger is an open source collaborative effort created to advance cross-industry blockchain technologies. It is a global collaboration including leaders in finance, banking, Internet of Things, supply chains, manufacturing and Technology. The Linux Foundation hosts Hyperledger under the foundation. Blockchain Acceleration Foundation

The Blockchain Acceleration Foundation (BAF) is a new nonprofit organization that is focused on legitimizing blockchain technology in academia by starting accredited blockchain courses, sourcing funding for blockchain research, incentivizing collaboration between our member organizations, and much more. Their member organizations include the blockchain clubs at UCLA, USC, UCI, UCSD, UCSB, Caltech, UC Davis, CSUN, and UNAM (the largest university in Mexico).

Blockchain Technology Summit provides an outstanding opportunity for qualified Blockchain-related organizations, forums, student groups, etc., to share their latest activities with our Blockchain Community.
